Free online enterprise workshops

Our programme of immersive training and live panel events will help you to develop your enterprise and employability skills and entrepreneurial thinking. Book your place on one of our upcoming events:

Nail your pitch, Wednesday 9 February, from 1:00pm – 2:00pm

Neema Amin, growth strategist for early-stage startups and founder of Escape Strategist, will teach you how to talk about your startup or business idea in an engaging and market-focused way.

Find funding for your startup, Wednesday 9 February, from 5:30pm – 7:30pm

In this informative panel event, you will find out about the different funding opportunities you can tap into as a startup.

The digital marketing and SEO clinic, Wednesday 2 March, from 5:30pm – 7:30pm

Katherine George, a social media expert at Oh So Social Marketing, and Mark Tomkins, a branding and website expert at Aubergine, will be sharing essential digital marketing tips for building your community, brand, and sales.

The ethically-minded startup, Wednesday 23 March, from 5:30pm – 7:30pm

The Santander University of Brighton Startup Booster Grant

What is the grant?

This programme is exclusively open to students and graduates (from the Class of 2019 or more recently) who have started their own business, social enterprise or freelance project, and who would benefit from receiving a grant between £250 and £2000.

The grant can be used to pay towards new product development, new technology within the business (e.g. specialist equipment or software), intellectual property protection or new marketing materials, among other things.

How do I apply for a Startup Booster Grant?

You must apply for the grant via the Santander X platform. As part of the application process, you will need to register with the Santander X platform.

Deadline
Submit your application for a Startup Booster Grant via the Santander X platform by Friday, 18 February 2022 at 5pm.
