Street Food and Farmers’ Market starts this October
We’ll be hosting a new street food and market every Monday alternating between the Moulsecoomb and Falmer campus.
Starting on 14 October, you’ll be able to buy your lunch and your groceries from a wide range of world cuisine from some of the best food vendors in Brighton!

- Moulsecoomb campus at the Cockcroft quad – 14 and 28 Oct, 11, 25 Nov, 9 Dec.
- Falmer campus, outside the Checkland building – 21 Oct, 4 and 18 Nov, 2 and 16 Dec.

Then on the next Monday (21 October) it will reappear on the Falmer campus outside the Checkland building.

Food stalls with world cuisine
We have all your dietary needs covered from vegan and nut free to gluten-free and non-dairy, you will be spoilt for choice with world flavours such as Taiwanese Bao Buns, Spanish Paella, Greek Souvlaki and French Crepes and Galettes. To satisfy your sweet tooth, we will also have a bakery with artisan breads, pastries, patisseries, and cheesecakes!
We’re also working on adding to our little market with a freshly grown fruit and veg supplier, where you’ll be able to pick up your groceries and add the very necessary fibre, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to your diet.
We aim to practice a single use plastic free policy and all our traders will be using eco-friendly biodegradable, compostable and recyclable containers to serve your food. But if you bring your own lunch box, they will be happy to serve you!
It will be great to turn this space into a social area to meet up with people and create a community atmosphere where everyone can enjoy delicious food and each other’s company!
