Wellbeing workshops for students

Our free wellbeing workshops are designed to support you through the various demands of the academic year.

They can help you beat procrastination, improve your confidence, and deal with the challenges of studying at university. Workshops are run across all campuses throughout the year.

If you could do with some support on any of these issues, please do sign up for one of the workshops on a nearby campus.

There are some great courses on https://www.brighton.ac.uk/lynda to support some of the topics mentioned above.
These may be good to enhance the learning in the workshops, or as an additional resource for anyone who is unable to make the workshops for any reason.

One of our favourite courses is Brenda Bailey-Hughes’ Overcoming Procrastination. It’s less than 20 minutes in all and feedback from those who’ve watched it say it’s life-changing for procrastinators. The course can be access for free by staff and students here:
    https://www.lynda.com/Business-Skills-tutorials/Overcoming-Procrastination/153124-2.html?org=brighton.ac.uk

https://www.brighton.ac.uk/lynda also has courses on communicating with confidence, such as this one https://www.lynda.com/Leadership-Management-tutorials/Communicating-Confidence/359601-2.html?org=brighton.ac.uk

All courses on https://www.brighton.ac.uk/lynda are free to staff and students, and can be downloaded to watch offline.
