Are you thinking about accommodation?

Housing roadshows

At this time of year, many students start to think about where they’ll be living for the next academic year. Finding a home will be a new experience for many, and can also be quite daunting.

To help you prepare and start planning, we will be visiting all campuses with housing advice between 12.30-2pm on the following dates:

Thursday 8 February:

  • Checkland Atrium, Falmer
  • Cockcroft entrance, Moulsecoomb
  • Grand Parade main entrance

Friday 9 February:

  • Sprinters Restaurant, Eastbourne
  • Priory Square lobby, Hastings (extended to 12.30-4pm)

Don’t worry if you can’t make it, you can drop in to see us anytime for a chat or contact us by email or telephone. We’re here to help you.

Find somewhere with studenthomes

Our very own housing database, studenthomes, will have our first property listings live from Wednesday 7 February, so make sure you save the date.

studenthomes is a private rented sector website, managed by the accommodation service, which landlords use to advertise their properties. It also has interactive maps, housing advice and other useful information. We strongly recommend you use this website first because:

  • No fees are charged (saving £200 on average per student)
  • It’s a University administered site which is easy to use
  • All paperwork relating to properties has been checked by us
  • There is a code of standards in operation that landlords sign, ensuring you are protected
