News and events for University of Brighton students

Brighton Clock Tower decorated with Christmas lights

Here for the holidays?

Are you staying in Halls or your accommodation over the holidays?

The International team have put together a Festive Guide for those students who may be experiencing their first Christmas in the UK, and also those that are staying in Brighton, Eastbourne or Hastings throughout the break. You will find information about traditions in the UK, events to get involved in and information on who to contact if you find yourself needing help.

Plus, there are Facebook groups set up for those of you in Halls over the break to set up meetups and events with each other – but you don’t need to be a Halls resident to take part! All students are welcome to join – you can find your nearest group below:

University opening hours

As a reminder, you can find all opening hours for university buildings over the break here.

If you find you need help or support throughout the break, there are many support services, helplines and charities that you can contact.

We hope that you have a safe and restful break, and look forward to seeing you in 2018.
