New PC Bookings service

There’s nothing worse than turning up at the library, desperate to finish the last bits of your assignment, only to discover all of the PCs are already being used. Or worse still, dashing over to what appeared to be a vacant spot, and finding the computer has already been occupied but the user is nowhere to be seen.

You told us that there weren’t enough PCs available throughout busy periods, so we have introduced a new booking service to allow you to book a computer for up to an entire day. This means that you can now book up to 7 days in advance and guarantee yourself a spot, even at busy times.

The new service also allows you to see what point and floor you can find available workstations with a map of each building. These are displayed on screens as you enter the building, so you can check in advance and save yourself time. The maps also provide information on which PCs are equipped with specialist equipment, such as Adobe Photoshop and RocScience.

Take the pressure off of some of your deadlines by planning ahead and booking out your PC at any library across our campuses. You will also be able to book a computer in the Watts Building and the computer rooms in Eastbourne.

To log in to the system and book your PC, use the following link: https://pcbookings.brighton.ac.uk
