Student Employee of the Year award – how can you be nominated

Are you working a job while you study? Why not ask your employer to put you forward for this year’s Student Employee of the Year award? The impact on your future career could be massive!

SEOTY is a national award that recognises students who demonstrate excellence in the jobs they do while studying. There are awards at institutional, regional and national levels, plus the opportunity to network with and learn from past winners and employers in the SEOTY alumni.

You could be nominated for a prestigious award that will make you stand out against other job applicants.

If you’re nominated and you win at regional level, you could be in with the chance of winning at a national level.

Prizes for national winners include:

•    £100 cheques for each national student category winner
•    Crystal star trophies and framed certificates
•    Free ticket to the glitzy national award ceremony
•    Plus

Just being nominated is evidence that you have what it takes to stand out in the workplace. A SEOTY nomination – or even a win! – would give you something amazing to put on your CV as proof to future employers that you have exceptional skills and personal qualities.

You have until April 18 to be nominated for a SEOTY award by your employer. If you think you’re a great employee, why not send your boss the link to the SEOTY website so that they can find out more.
