The Coaching Service – coming soon!

BRJAN4A brand new service is being launched across all campuses to help students who want coaching to overcome any issue that may be a barrier to enjoyment and success at university. For example, seeking help, to become more organised, give better presentations, be better at interviews or just achieve more balance in your life.

The Coaching Service won’t be replacing specialised services like the Careers Service or the Disability and Dyslexia team but will instead be inviting students who feel they could use coaching to come along for a chat to see how and if the Coaching Service can help them.

It’s another strand of help from Student Services with up to 20 trained members of staff available to help coach you. Each staff member has a coaching skills certificate and is fully qualified. You’ll be able to chat with someone from the service first to find out if it’s coaching you need and if so up to 3 sessions may be available.

It’s completely confidential and available at any campus. Students can go to advisors with any issue at all.

The service is set to launch in the next three to four weeks so keep your eyes peeled for more information as there will be emails sent out about it. In the meantime, click here for more.
