Would you like a £250 grant to help you become more employable?

The university is offering final year students a non-repayable grant of up to £250 to help you improve your chances of getting a graduate job.

The Employability Fund has been established by the Philanthropy and Alumni grads1Engagement office and aims to support you in building your skills and preparing for the world of work after uni.

Successful applicants will receive funding to help with:

  • Travel expenses for unpaid work experience or employer mentoring sessions
  • Paying to attend short courses – confidence, assertiveness, or skills-based courses, e.g. IT
  • Setting up a website to showcase your work
  • Buying outfits for interviews
  • Or anything that will help you get a job!

All you have to do is fill out the application form http://bit.ly/UoBsef2014 and send it to m.wareham@brighton.ac.uk by 12 noon on 25 January 2015.
The application will be considered by a panel of staff and employers led by the University of Brighton Careers Service.
