My Clearing Story: How I found my degree in Clearing
I was clear about the course I wanted to study but was confused in choosing the most appropriate university for me. During the post-Covid situation in 2021, I was expecting my school marksheet and certificate, which was mandatory to upload in the application for university. But unfortunately, the result got very delayed from the examination board. Therefore, there was no other option for me than to apply through Clearing.
Why I chose Brighton for my Physical Education degree
I had many options of other universities. However, my sister is a University of Brighton graduate. She had a very positive experience throughout her degree program. Moreover, she also told me that the sports facilities provided by University of Brighton are absolutely amazing, so I chose an undergraduate degree in sports and exercise.
Top-level sports facilities
Being a sportsperson and enrolled in a sports course, the sports facility provided by University of Brighton are absolutely top-level. All University of Brighton campuses are very accessible and connected through public transports, the location of campuses are amazing, and I also received the positive experience from University of Brighton support teams.
Clearing for a sports degree
I applied at University of Brighton Clearing in the first week of August. I just made a list of couple of back-up courses in case I didn’t get my preferred course, so I could choose another related course of the same field of studies which I was interested in.
The Clearing team is very active. After having a call with the admissions tutor regarding all the queries such as the availability courses and entry criteria, they directed me to fill in the details on the online Clearing form on University of Brighton website in the Clearing section. Afterwards, I emailed my form to the Clearing team and soon got my confirmation email from the university.
From applying to the university until half way through my degree, I have never felt alone. Choosing University of Brighton was best decision of my life and it feels like a home away from home.
