Brighton Pier

My favourite places in Brighton

Brighton has so many of the most unique venues I have ever come across and today I have the pleasure of getting to share my top five with you. I easily could have done top five hundred, but who has the time? So, let’s get to it, I hope you find these useful!

Where to eat

Short on cash? Want to save your money but still craving something? Brilliant! The Gardener is a “Pay as you feel” restaurant in the heart of The Lanes. They produce all their food with ingredients that otherwise would have been wasted and put into a landfill, so you can help the planet and your wallet at the same time. There is a recommended “donation” of £2 per person; this is optional but still not a bad price for a meal, eh?

Kenny’s Rock & Soul Café
Kenny’s Rock & Soul Café is decked out in music memorabilia

Fancy some delicious food served with great music? Look no further! Kenny’s Rock & Soul Café is the perfect hidden gem for those not just wanting to chow down, but also have a fun dining experience. The café is covered in a vast collection of memorabilia ranging from rock and soul singers to movies. So why not pop by and grab something tasty?

Where to shop

Shabitat Magpie Recycling Co-op is the perfect place for those that love to find some good bargains. The shop has anything you can imagine: clothes, movies, books, CDs, decorations and more. Thrifting is not just fun but sustainable and cheap, so head on down and have a browse.

A day out

How could I not mention our gorgeous Brighton Pier? For an enjoyable day out, this is the place for you! There are two massive amusement halls, an array of different restaurants and breathtaking views. Soak in the sun, breathe in the salty sea air, stroll along the pier and try the rides to have some wild fun on the iconic Brighton seafront.

Revenge nightclub

Nightlife

Club Revenge is the place to be on a night out in Brighton, our number one LGBTQ+ venue offering some of the best tunes as well as an amazing atmosphere. There are multiple floors hosting assorted styles of music. The drinks are cheaply priced, served by their friendly and outgoing staff. So go for a visit and you will quickly become a regular!
