Continuing students can apply now for next year’s funding

Applications for funding for next academic year are now OPEN. The quickest and easiest way to apply is online through your Student Finance account or by using the  Student Finance portal. Don’t worry if you have forgotten your login or password, you can reset these relatively easily.

If you are going into your second year, the application process should be a lot easier than the first year as much of your personal and course details will be pre-populated. But please update any change to your term time address (if you know it) and always double check your bank details.

If you receive Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA), you will probably just need to confirm that you still need the additional support, rather than having to apply for everything again, but please read all correspondence very carefully and follow any instructions given.

If anything has changed or is likely to change, like your household income or who you live with, you should notify Student Finance on your form. You can also upload any supporting evidence to your online account rather than posting it.

Applications for student finance need to be made by Friday 23 June 2023 to guarantee assessment before the start of next academic year. Applications made after this date may result in delays at the start of next term.

Got a question about your funding or finance? Please don’t hesitate to talk to a Student Adviser. We know that these are challenging times and we are all here for you.
