Student Advice Service – Money Matters

News from the Student Advice Service at the University of Brighton

Have you seen this bus?

If you are a Brighton based student studying at Falmer, Moulsecoomb or City campus, you may have seen the blue bus travelling along the Lewes Road and up to Varley Halls.

This is the UB1, the university’s shuttle bus, which travels in an hourly loop from Falmer via Varley Halls into town and back between 7.30am – 7.30pm on weekdays. And it’s completely free of charge – no need for a Totum card, 16-25 railcard or student bus pass, you just your uni card.

You can sit back, jump on the wi-fi, charge up your phone, listen to the driver whistling along to the radio or just look out the window and appreciate the low carbon emission ride.

Have a look at the timetable below, but please note there is only 1 bus so it can be delayed if traffic is bad.

22-23 timetable

Happy travels!
