Student Advice Service – Money Matters

News from the Student Advice Service at the University of Brighton

Get ready for Money Week

Never to be held back, the Student Advice Team brings you our annual Student Money Week event.  This year’s national theme is ‘Expect the Unexpected’ and runs from Monday 15th – Friday 19th February. Universities across the UK will be taking part so we will be in good company.

Although we cannot see you face to face on campus, we will be hosting some live online events via Teams, which we very much hope you’ll join us for. These are open to all students and you should receive joining information later this week.

Thanks to those of you who completed our recent survey, where we asked about your experiences with financial matters over this past year. The feedback you provided has enabled us to ensure that this event is relevant and useful to you.

  • Look out for DAILY blogs covering a range of topics and money-saving tips
  • Student Advisers will be popping into some online lectures to say hello and talk about how we can help you
  • Live drop-in sessions on Teams:

Tuesday 16th  February 4pm – 5.30pm

Wednesday 17th February 1pm – 2.30pm

Thursday 18th February 4.30pm – 6pm

Come along to these group sessions and ask a question – please note that we cannot discuss matters of a confidential nature in these open forums.

As always, you can email studentadvice@brighton.ac.uk with any money-related questions at any time.

See you next week!
