Student Finance for a repeat year of study

Have you applied for funding for next academic year? Are you repeating the academic year (or part of it)?

You need to make sure Student Finance know which academic year you’re going to be returning to, so if you have already applied for next year (18/19) you should check this as soon as possible as this can cause problems later on.

How to check your information:

If you have been assessed already, you will find a breakdown of your award in the letters and emails section of your online Student Finance account. Have a look for the notification of entitlement/award letter and this will show what you have been given for which year near the top of the letter. If it is not immediately obvious, give us a ring on 01273 642888.

Our Academic Services department will also be able to confirm any change once you have started the academic year, but it is much easier and quicker for you to change your application direct.

If you have not yet applied, you must do so urgently as it takes roughly 6 weeks to be assessed.
