Our Project
This project is to design and build a high-performance water rocket system and produce an educational kit based on the solution. The educational kit of our project is aimed towards A level and first year university students. This needs to be packaged as a website with the kit being a modern replacement for existing kits with a higher representation of engineering, technology and design. The kit should be easily assessable and cheap. We decided to design our parts to fit the bottle in CAD. Using Cad allowed us to make our rocket kit more accessible by allowing the rocket to be 3D printed by anyone. We also focused on our brand by creating a logo, promotional video and website giving us a brand identity. We have performed several launches on our rocket for testing as well as wind tunnel and flow simulations during the design process. In conclusion we believe that we have made a strong product that would be successful in the current market.
