WHAT IS CYBER-BULLYING?

Cyber-bullying takes place online or through your smartphone or tablet. It is where people send messages that are nasty, hurtful and offensive.
Cyber-bullying is also when people make things up about another person and then posts it online. It could even be others leaving you out of group chats.

  

WHAT TO DO IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS BEING BULLIED

Always tell you parents/carers or someone you trust.
Try to screenshot what the person has said
Even though it may be hard DO NOT REPLY
Report the behaviour
Ignore/block/unfollow

WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS OF CYBER-BULLYING?

You may feel embarrassed.  

Feel alone and isolated.       

Want to skip school.    

It can even lead to the person harming themselves.
Low self-esteem.

Don’t suffer in silence. There is a way out
