The sabbatical will be used to complete a co-authored (with Susana Cortes, University of Leeds) book on children’s mobilities (Palgrave Macmillan). The book offers a critical and comprehensive analysis of children’s bodily, virtual and imagined mobilities based on international research from a range of disciplines and existing research conducted by the authors, all supplemented with new insights. It includes case studies and vignettes and is illustrated with examples of urban and rural mobilities.
