Lab Spaces

VR & Eye-Tracking Room

The VR & Eye-Tracking Lab is a designated space for Psychological research, designed for both staff and students to carry out research using specialist psychology equipment. The room is tailored for both Eye-Tracking and Virtual Reality research, with adjustable lighting and a blackout blind to ensure accurate data collection, as well as providing a large space for the use of VR equipment/headsets.

Stats Lab

The Stats Lab is a specialist workspace for statistical analysis, as well as video and audio editing projects. 

It is accessible as a study space to students on Psychology courses and is used for Psychology Lab workshops and demonstrations.

Booth Rooms

The Stats-Lab contains 8 booth spaces which are used for interviews and other one-on-one research projects, using psychophysiological measures, such as EEG (electroencephalography) and Electrodermal Activity (EDA).

Life Lab

The Life Lab is fitted with lounge furniture to provide a comfortable space for conducting qualitative research with larger groups. The space is particularly suited to child and focus group research, due to its relaxed layout providing a more naturalistic environment for research to take place within.
