Inclusive physical activity workshop

PE and Dance students at the School of Sport and Service Management took part in a whole day of inclusive sport and physical activity as part of their preparation for their forthcoming school placements. The emphasis of the day was on equity and inclusion within the secondary school PE and dance curriculum.

Inclusive Sports Festival 2014

On 16 September, 130 children with additional learning needs from seven schools in East Sussex attended the Inclusive Sports Festival at the School of Sport and Service Management in Eastbourne. The day included activities such as Boccia, parachute games, sitting volleyball, goalball, dance and new age kurling.

TARGET Dance: Bodies in Motion

Undergraduate and postgraduate students from the School of Sport and Service Management have been working with 19 schools from our local network and the university widening participation network to create dances to perform on the largest public stage in Eastbourne; the Congress Theatre.
