Sometimes when you are online, you may get into difficulties. This could be because:
* you are being bullied
*someone has made hurtful comments about you
*someone is contacting you who you don’t know
* you have seen or read something which has upset you
Whatever it is, if you think its wrong NEVER keep this to yourself. You can always tell a trusted adult, even if you are embarrassed: you can tell someone at home or at school who can help.
There are lots of different websites where you can also learn about online safety and about the steps you can take to help to keep you safe. BUT remember to check in with your privacy settings often as things can change without you realising.
