As part of my website on E-Safety, I would like to introduce my slogan called “Pause for Thought”. This is something which I would like you to think about each time you are online.
What is this? I hear you ask…
Well, when you are online, whether it is on Social Media, messaging on your phone or simply doing a spot of online shopping, you should take just a moment to stop and think what you are doing – just for a little while – and really have a think about what you are about to do.
Do you really mean to say what you have just put in that comment?
Did you make sure that the website you are about to buy something from has the little padlock in the URL?
Who do you really want to see that picture you have just taken of yourself?
Because remember, once you have pressed that button to send information, you can NEVER get it back and may have serious consequences for a very long time.
