Due to covid-19 implications, the final product was unable to be built and therefore unable to be photographed. To overcome this, a series of renders and virtual videos were made.
To achieve these, I spent two weeks self teaching myself a software called blender.

Scene set ups
Colour Change
For the colour change at 00:14, three separate but identical scenes were made in the same file. Different colours were then added to each scene. The colour change was created in the video by adding camera changes in the time line.
Colour reveal
The colour reveal at 00:07 shows two alternative colour products appearing. This was achieved by stacking the products behind each other and programming them to move apart.
Cartridge reveal
At 00:11, the cartridges exit the unit. To achieve this, the part had to be aligned straight to an axis, and the cartridges were programmed to travel along the axis. The camera was programmed to pan around the product to prevent the scene from being too static.
