Our first group project was to create a mirryama which is a continuous landscape made up of cards that can be moved and rearranged in any order and the image still lines up and fits together. I feel as though my group communicated really well together and came up with the idea of using “The Lanes” as a theme for our piece. We each made a shop and then we swapped cards and each made a character in or outside each others shops so that the piece as a whole didn’t look like it was made by 6 different people but just 1. We agreed to use the pipes on the buildings, the curb and the yellow lines to join up our cards. I am very happy with our mirryama and the linkage was a success as we can rearrange the cards In any order and they still line up.
