This session features a screening of the documentary One Woman Show, which explores the challenges faced by women video journalism across diverse global contexts. The documentary forms part of Dr. Lidia Pedro Sole’s PhD research, which explores the use documentary as a methodological tool for academic inquiry. Through this screening, participants are invited to critically engage with the ways in which visual storytelling and embodied experience can contribute to research narratives, particularly in relation to gender, representation, and fieldwork.
