Grant Capture: UKRI International Placement Scheme 2026

The UKRI International Placement Scheme 2026 will open in January 2026 with a deadline of 19 March 2026 and the University of Brighton will be implementing an Internal Demand Management process. This is relevant for PhD students and ECRs. See  the timeline and complete the required steps. Please note ECRs are required to discuss how this placement scheme would be implemented with their line managers and school. Grant Capture:Postgraduate Research degree funding opportunity at the University of Brighton -webinar 17 November 2025 10am

The University of Brighton is delighted to invite applications for three AHRC Landscape Award studentships for postgraduate research degree study,  to begin October 2026. This opportunity is open to candidates applying for PhD study for the first time. These studentships offer an annual maintenance grant and full payment of home fees at the UKRI rate for the period of doctoral study (3.5 years), pro rata for part-time study. Dear Colleagues, I hope you are well and that you had a good break over the summer. As your planning continues for this academic year, please consider submitting proposals for SAM Research and Knowledge Exchange (R&KE) Festival with a main week which will take place from 10th–14th November 2025 and with satellite events throughout November. The Postgraduate Research Culture Symposium for PGR and PGT students and staff will take place on the 12th November in the Sallis Benney Theatre from 10am-4pm. This is a great opportunity for staff to share our research and make connections between our teaching, research, and knowledge exchange.
