News: New REG – Communication and Creative Ecologies

Sustainability and the climate emergency are symptoms of the extraction and use of fossil fuels, and the imbricated histories of their industrial-colonial-capitalist development. Phasing out fossil fuels will be the most significant movement towards decarbonisation: using products made from renewable energy, developing new materials, and living in more equitable and just societiesCommunicating methods through research may have changed in view of the climate emergency. Achieving these shifts, however, requires new ways of thinking, communicating, engaging, creating and practicing. How do we best facilitate this through research and knowledge exchange in the context of the academy?
