INVITE: Resistance with distance! Seed exchange and joint film this Friday

Urban gardeners in Germany embrace new opportunities to allow the gardening seasion to start during the current corona pandemic.

Please feel free to join them this Friday 17th April 2020 for two events:

At 7pm, the “joint film watching” of O´pflanzt is – 6 Jahre Gemeinschaftsgarten happens on Zoom using these entry details: Meeting-ID: 734 164 3757 / Passwort: sommercamp.
This event has been organised by the anstiftung Foundation and reminds of / replaces the 3-day German-wide Community Gardening Sommercamp that was due to happen on the following weekend in Berlin (and where Katrin Bohn was due to share a presentation with Prof June Komisar and Dr Joe Nasr (working) titled Community gardens as part of the urban food system which now has been postponed to a not yet confirmed date).

From 4pm and until Thursday 30th April, a self-organised plant and seed exchange under the motto of Resistance with Distance happens at the Allmende-Kontor Gemeinschaftsgarten in Berlin (Tempelhofer Feld). Organised by Allmende-Kontor, Freund*innen des 17. April, Netzwerk Urbane Gärten Berlin and Nyeleni.de as part of the world-wide action day “La Via Campesina”, this is a contactless activity am Tausch-Bett beim “Dorfplatz”.

And here more information about the joint film watching (in German):
Gemeinsames Filmgucken O´pflanzt is – 6 Jahre Gemeinschaftsgarten
