Professional Summary:

I have several skills suited to work in often harsh outdoor environments. Physically fit, I am used to employment near the coast and have several experiences working at offshore installations, I’m highly professional in my work and am comfortable communicating within all levels of an organisation. Lastly, I am well-versed in computer- aided design and manufacturing skills.

  • operating and maintenance of fire fighting system
    • communicating information with shipboard and shoreside emergency personnel
    • understanding sign language and its meaning due to loud working environment
    • Watchkeeping the engine room to ensure the proper functioning of the generator, main engine, jacket water cooling systems, purifier.
    • Conduct environmental, operational, or performance tests on marine machinery and equipment. • Perform monitoring activities to ensure that ships comply with international regulations and standards for life saving equipment and pollution preventatives.
    • Coordinate activities with regulatory bodies to ensure repairs and alterations are at minimum cost, and consistent with safety.
