Work-Based Learning (30 credits)

This module is for healthcare professionals working in any healthcare setting within the UK.

Module Information

Module Code 

NA6150 (level 6) and NA7150 (level 7)

Module content 

This module allows the learner to manage their own work-based learning, enabling the student to actively shape their learning experiences within the workplace. The work-based learning approach will enhance the learner’s ability to manage personally unique learning activities to promote high quality clinical practice 

Entry Requirements  

Applicants should be working in the UK as a healthcare professional for a minimum of 2 days per week with normally 1 year post-registration experience and working in a clinical area with support available from a designated mentor. Applicants at level 7 must possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 

Assessments

A portfolio of evidence that includes the evidence of accomplishment for each of the 3 personally unique learning outcomes.
