Emergency Care
This module is for nurses, paramedics and allied healthcare professionals working in Emergency Departments and who regularly work with patients requiring emergency care.

Content
Management of Airway, breathing, circulatory and neurological emergencies as well as essential trauma response skills to enable practitioners to participate in trauma teams.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should be working in the UK as a healthcare professional for a minimum of 2 days per week, working in a clinical area with support available from a designated mentors. Applicants at level 7 would normally possess a bachelor degree or equivalent or have evidence of the ability to study at postgraduate level
Assessments
Presentation of an evidence-based A1 sized poster and completion of 6 skills in practice.
