Continuing Professional Development

The University of Brighton offers a wide variety of modules and courses that will enable healthcare professionals to develop their clinical, professional and academic careers. Our Continuing Professional Development modules in health are delivered by experts in the field who create evidence-based teaching and learning opportunities suitable for healthcare professionals and people working in health and social care, including nurses, paramedics, midwives, physiotherapists, podiatrists and occupational therapists.

We have modules available at Level 6 (undergraduate) for applicants wishing to top-up their diploma or foundation degree, and at Level 7 (postgraduate) for applicants who have completed a degree and are ready for the next challenge. You can search for a module using keywords e.g diabetes or the module code using our search function on the right. Please note the search function works best in Google Chrome. Modules can be taken as a single module or as part of an undergraduate or postgraduate course.

Module dates, location, single module fees and other information can be found on each of the module pages. Please note these fees do not apply to students enrolled on our postgraduate or community courses. Please contact the Finance Team at: fees@brighton.ac.uk for more information. Modules are scheduled to run throughout the academic year and delivered at the University’s Falmer campus near Brighton.
