Makey Makey course

Makey was an amazing course as well. We all got given a Makey Makey keyboard and learned how to attach it to our computers and how to turn it on. We then began attaching these crocodile clips to the Makey Makey. Then we could connect the other end to something conductive and essential turn it into a button on our key boards.

We then played around with this for a bit, I made a spoon my space bar and my keys into a right-click. We then opened up scratch so that we could play some really basic code and have our keyboard perform specific actions.

When I hooked up my Makey Makey to the Scractch code I made it so that when I clicked the spoon and my keys they played different sounds.

I then replaced the keys and spoon with these little tin foil switches that I made as they are a lot more practical than the spoon and keys. These can be used as pressure plates or hidden switches in the future.

Makey Makey is awesome and something I am going to heavily focus my project on. I want to be able to trigger my sound design in really creative ways and I think Makey Makey is really going to help me with that.
