For our final project of the year, we have been tasked with creating a fashion space responding to the theme of future bodies. This space can be anything we want it to be. We are being encouraged to work in many different mediums throughout this project with courses being made available on a wide range of subjects including natural dying, AI, 3D modeling, and many more.
My initial ideas for this project and the theme of future bodies has me really excited. Garments changing and evolving over time is something that has always sparked my interest so I think I want to explore this further.
I am considering adding some elements of sound design into my work as this is something I’ve always been passionate about and now I can finally implement it into my work. equally garment repair and mending have also been at the core of my work and fashion identity so I want to find a way to combine these two disciplines.
