Take Part: Humans of Brighton University

We are launching a Humans of Brighton University Facebook page to coincide with One World Week 2019. We also hope to have an exhibition on campus featuring selected stories. We are looking for staff and students who are interested in taking part.

What will it involve?

It will involve having a photo taken of you in a location on campus and having a short interview, which we will record, and part of which will be transcribed to feature as your ‘story’ on the Facebook post. You see examples of pages at other universities below.

We might ask you some questions about a particular topic, and decide with you what you’d like your story to include. Sometime we will just feature a line of two from participants, and sometimes it might be a series of 2 or 3 posts!

We will check the photo and text we use before posting them on Facebook to make sure you are happy with them.

We will need you to complete and sign a Photography and video consent form to say you give your permission for us to us your image on our Facebook page, and for the purpose of the exhibition, if you want to be part of that.

If you change your mind at any point, we will delete the post from Facebook and remove your image and words from the exhibition.
