Ground Floor Plan

The ground floor of Home X is a dedicated commercial space (red coloring) for the public with residents quarters located towards the back of the building (purple and grey coloring). Access to the commercial space is at the front of the building in two separate space that can only be entered from the outside, you cannot enter the other side internally.

For residents, they have to walk around to the back of the building and this can be inconvenient instead of being able to walk directly up to the building. However, the commercial spacing and residential spacing is separated – this stops people from trespassing into the occupants living quarters.

Lots of natural light is able to enter through the many windows that are present in Home X – having natural light is good as it makes the large open space look bigger and provides endorphins for the people within the building.

There is also a plant room, located in the center of the building, which holds all the buildings technical services such as boilers, control boards, ventilation systems.
