The Traveling Scarf

From 1908 to 2012, 104 years of life. My great aunt was a powerful and independent woman that managed to experience a life of over a century. She once gave me one of her most personal and significant belongings; her oldest scarf. I only realized its value after her passing away. The beauty of it? The unknown.
This scarf has doubtless traveled from Cyprus to South Africa, from WW1 to WW2, from no cars to cars, from no electricity to electricity, from hand written letters to text messages and now from her to me.
