Trekstock

Through this project I got to observe a 360 plan. This included planning a fundraiser event with a 10,000 pound budget. The event will be called blueMove which links with “Trek” and the whole movement that will occur in the streets of the UK on the day as people will get to wear blue wigs. In order for me to stick to this budget I had to review my plan thoroughly. I had to consider aspects such as a SWOT analysis of Trekstock. Through this SWOT analysis I had come to a conclusion that Trekstock is an organization open to many ideas as their aim to bring people together. One of their strengths is that they target a small target group of the ages 20-30 which is mostly overlooked by other charities. As they say, “We work tirelessly to ensure that no young adult has to face cancer alone”. Of course there are many opportunities for them to look further into such as their celebrity ambassadors. Another opportunity which I had in mind is more fashion collaborations as they haven’t had any up to now. This is why I had created a look book for H&M as it is a well-known brand that also attracts the same age group. I believe that one of their biggest weakness that they have to work on is their awareness and website. My aim is to make Trekstock more well-know especially for their target market.  A way which I will accomplish that is through social media such as Snapchat and Instagram. Money from the budget will be used for the creation of the wigs, installation of money boxes throughout towns in order for everyone to donate but also for the social media aspect such as hiring photographers and models. The wigs will be ordered in mass production and the packaging used will be of low cost in order to collect as much profit as possible. The wigs will be sold in H&M store in order for the target group to have easy access to them. They will also be sold online on Trekstocks website in order for their website to get more recognition. Trekstock focuses on being a positive and fun charity in order to provide a physical, emotional and practical support to others. They encourage a healthy and inspirational lifestyle. My aim is for the blueMove to encourage all youngsters to join and support the team of Trekstock into empathizing towards cancer patients and provide positive support but also for the rest of the society to get satisfaction and pleasure from helping out in addition to a fun day in town.
