When starting my project into looking into striped socks me and my group decide to go around Brighton and take pictures of as many people wearing socks/striped socks as possible. We even did an experiment where we sat in the same place for 10 minutes and took pictures of peoples feet as we walked past, here’s some of the pictures we took:
My expectations of studying Fashion Communication with Business Studies at the University of Brighton are firstly that I will end this next few years with qualifications and hopefully a degree. I also expect to gain more knowledge of the fashion industry and loads of work experience that will help me gain entry into the fashion industry. My final expectation is that I will learn new skills I didn’t know before, such as more photography and more about styling in order to increase my skills in this industry.
When first given the project of striped socks the first thought that came into my mind was how socks are styled in menswear. Usually, a mens suit lining/cuff lining will match the socks.
