Handout at the Workers’ Empire Exhibition, Glasgow 1938

On Monday 4th April 2022 Harriet will be contributing the paper ‘Empire with the Lid Off’ The Glasgow Workers’ Exhibition, 1938 to ‘Exhibitions, New Nations and the Human Factor, 1873-1939′, a conference organised by CRAACE (Continuity / Rupture: Art and Architecture in Central Europe 1918-1939), an ERC-funded research project at Masaryk University, Brno. The conference is being held at the Institut National D’Histoire de l’Art in Paris from 4-5 April 2022. The event will be held in hybrid format.
