Trend 4: A Very Russian Revolution

Russian art is a very prominant part of the creative industries with both classical paintings and abstract pieces of art being used as a source of inspiration. After the RA’s exhibition; Revolution: Russian Art 1917-1932 where this time period was expolred and analysed, this seemed a great opportunity for fashion to get on board. This trend uses shapes, colours and composition to inform garment design, jewellery and make-up to be more art based. Art and fashion are friends not foes and this trend is made to prove that.
