10th Anniversary Visit

A smiling Malagiri pupil2021 marks 10 years since the opening of the Malagiri School.

To celebrate this very important milestone we are planning for a group of University of Brighton staff, students and friends of the Malagiri School to visit Nepal in April 2021.

This is an exciting opportunity to experience this amazing project first-hand, and make a real difference to the lives of the pupils, staff and wider community in this remote region in Nepal.

We plan to work alongside the teachers, pupils and villagers during the visit so that we are able to support the community in ways that are helpful – we want the experience to be of mutual benefit.

If the visit is of interest you can find out more on 26 March at 3pm at the university’s  Falmer campus. Malagiri Committee members who have visited the school will share their experiences of Nepal and the school, and you will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas and suggestions about the trip organisation.

If you would like to come to the meeting on 26 March please email Lorraine Harrison: l.harrison@brighton.ac.uk.
