Christmas Fayre for Malagiri
The School of Education held their annual Christmas Fayre on Friday 9 December to raise money to support the Malagiri School Project in Nepal.
The event took place in the Checkland atrium between 12pm – 2pm where there was a host of activities including a cakes sale, Christmas cards, hand knitted hats and scarves, tombola, carol singers, puppy hugs and a special guest appearance from Chewbacca!
The event was a huge success with a continuous flow of students and staff enjoying the festivities, and together everyone raised a fantastic £1100 in just two hours.
This smashed last year’s total and it could not have been achieved without the amazing team of students, colleagues and the Malagiri choir and all their hard work.
