Team working

On this page I will outline where in the project team working was key for me in learning and completing assignments.

Website development:

-peer review of websites each week

-asked a family member to open website and go through the pages to make sure it made sense even to someone who is not at all involved with the project

-asked other members of the group their thoughts. This led me to change the colour scheme of the website

 

Electronics section (Week 4,5,6):

-During some of  the sessions I would often work with Szintia. We would work out issues we encountered together.

 

Computer controlled cutting:

-I worked with John creating the vinyl sticker. I had not had much experience of illustrator so John shared his extensive knowledge of the software and helped me to get a shape ready to cut out.

 

CNC Machining:

Even though this section was done when everyone was away from university we did a group project involving CNC machining. During this project we had to navigate all the issues that come with file sharing when it comes to CAD models. Being in a group was very useful during the manufacture where someone could be making sure the machine was running smoothly, another would be doing quality control checks and the other putting parts together.

 

Arduino: 

During the sessions on Microsoft teams if we had an issue we could share our screen with the rest of the group. Often when someone shared it, someone else was having the same problem and possibly had a solution. I found this when I had an issue with the ultrasonic module and it turned out to be a typo.
