I used my D3300 Nikon camera to produce these photos as I began to explore the idea of sense of place. I experimented with depth of field as I looked into creating a bokeh affect on some close up images to express detail and a main focal point. I believe this is a strong feature to incorporate in an image conveying depth within a place which is key in relation to the theme. By adjusting the settings such as aperture during the experimentation of different ideas, I was able to gain confidence in using the camera at it’s best ability in order to produce high quality photos in preparation for my final portfolio .
