Artist Research – Adam Jacobs

This is Adam Jacobs work, This is out of his collection of work called abandoned spaces.

I like his work because it is a different type of photography that I have never done before and it can be interpreted different from different people. In these images I have added the use of the metal and wood textures add different layers and dynamics which I like and would like to incorporate into my own photography.

Because of the time of day and where are the windows are in the images it can effect the lighting in the image which I will be wary of whilst taking my own pictures.

His photography has further inspired me to not only pictures of the inside of abandoned buildings to also the adventure to the outside and capture the atmosphere around the space.

I have taken inspiration from his work because it is linked in with my theme which is also abandoned and isolation.
