Tropical Tangle

This shoot is based on the Spring/Summer 18 WGSN trend Psychotropical, which drops during the mid-summer season and so is perfect for the June issue. This make-up shoot showcases the make-up from this trend.

I originally collaborated with first year student Caterina Bechelli in the make-up designs, with her creating the original design based from my moodboards, and then me tweaking them to suit the trend more solidly. I then went on to do the make-up artistry and photography in the shoot.

I chose to use an Indian model to represent the ethnicity in the editorials for the magazine, and also because Indians tend to be under-represented in fashion magazines, especially in the beauty industry.
