When it came to creating my own second hand brand, I was thinking a lot about how I can use my own clothing but also make my brand something that makes peoples lives easier as well as something that people already know and love. Adidas is one of those brands that is in everyones wardrobes, constantly relevant and in main stream and high fashion. Adidas is also massively successful for their vintage designs which are nostalgic and create attention due to the endless colour ways and designs. so this gave me the idea to create a platform that only sells Adidas clothing, but more specifically vintage pieces or old originals pieces. This will draw attention as it will be super easy for customers to come and buy affordable second hand Adidas but without spending hours looking for it on sights such as Depop or Vinted.

Depop and Vinted are massively popular second hand online companies that allow people to sell their clothes. The reason I don’t particularly enjoy shopping on these platforms is due to the fact that they are endless. you have to go onto the website specifically looking for something or you will spend hours searching for stuff. as well as this confusing universe, the prices on depop are so expensive they are almost at the original retail price, all because it says ‘vintage’ in the description. this is very unappealing for some due to the fact that is is second hand. this problem is something that in my brand I wish to fix.
