‘To Remember me by’ is an installation work exploring human’s relationship with the natural world, particularly trees. I aim through this work to prompt reflection on the overpopulation, over building and carelessness that we show towards our natural environment and specifically our forests.

The work consists of six, handmade, identically sized, wooden boxes, using the position of a specific a cluster of trees, to determine their placement on the floor. This scattered, non-symmetrical arrangement of the boxes will allow the viewer to walk in between and around the individual boxes which contain found natural objects in various stages of decay.
