How To Use – Postcard

Not Your doll, is an installation artwork that explores the subject of racism experienced by some Asian people.

Since I came to England I have experienced various acts of discrimination. Of course, racists form only a few of the population however in my work I want to communicate that racism is never right.

This artwork compares an Asian woman to a doll treating her as a product to show how absurd discrimination based on gender and race is. The work has accompanying postcards which introduce the subject of discriminatory behaviour but which also suggest this behaviour has consequences.
